Based in Treaty One traditional territory of the Anishinaabek, Swampy Cree, Oji-Cree, Assiniboine, Dakota and Dene peoples and homeland to the Red River Metis Nation, the 60s Scoop Legacy of Canada is an organization formed by 60s Scoop Survivors from Manitoba.

The 60s Scoop Legacy of Canada provides three main services to Survivors of the 60s Scoop: advocacy, supports, and culturally appropriate healing.  Advocacy services include 60s Scoop awareness workshops and presentations, repatriation efforts for Survivors who have not yet been reclaimed by their home communities, and provides advocacy for change to child welfare policy and legislation in Canada.  Support services include providing online information and assistance in accessing ongoing mental health, family, and Elder connections. Healing services are aimed at creating a nationwide network of Survivors, cultural reconnection, trauma and addiction therapy, support group meetings, and social events.

The 60s Scoop Legacy of Canada also provides collaboration between provincial societies and organizations in order to create a nation-wide network for Survivors and their families
